Mixwell’s Career

Oscar ‘Mixwell’ Canellas was born on October 10, 1995, in Spain. Mixwell was passionate about gaming since a very young age and started his professional career as a gamer playing Counter-Strike: Source and soon after the release of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive he decided to make a switch and started playing CS: GO professionally.

In 2012, he started his CS: GO career with bemyfRAG and played for many different teams like Wizards e-Sports Club, 34united Club, gBots eSports Club, OverGaming, gBots eSports Club, Atlantis eSports, Epsilon eSports, x6tence, and gBots eSports Club but didn’t play too long for any team until he was signed by OpTic Gaming in April 2016 and was with them for next two years.

In the two years, he was with OpTic Gaming, OpTic Gaming finished 5th-6th in ESL Pro League Season 3 – Finals and later went on to win Americas Minor Championship – Cologne 2016, Northern Arena 2016 – Montreal, ELEAGUE Season 2, and finished 2nd at Esports Championship Series Season 2 – Finals.

After 2016, OpTic Gaming didn’t manage to win anything big and after OpTic Gaming decided to make roster changes Mixwell felt like he was no longer needed in the team and left to join Cloud9. Mixwell did his best to make things work out with Cloud9 but he wasn’t able to achieve anything and decided to take a break from CS: GO.

While he was taking a break from CS: GO he got a chance to play Valorant and after some time he decided to continue his professional career as a Valorant player and in June 2020 he was singed by G2 Esports as part of their Valorant roster.
