Nicholas “Nicrkmers” Kolcheff was born on November 21, 1990, in Detroit, Michigan. Nickmercs started his career as a Gears of War professional player in the late 2000s and started to get a lot of attention, later in 2010 he started streaming Gears of War on Twitch.tv which at the time was known as Justin.tv. Because of his successful career in Gears of War, he started to make a name for himself and gain a lot of fan following.
In 2011, Nickmercs made his youtube channel in order to get more famous and started uploading his gameplay video of Call of Duty and Outlast on his youtube channel. After his successful Gears of War career, he did try playing Halo professionally but it didn’t work out for him and he decided to put his focus on Call of Duty as both streamer and content creator.
In 2016, Nickmercs fame continued to grow and he got the chance to become one of the founding members of the newly found organization 100Thieves. In 2017, after the release of Fortnite: Battle Royale. Nickmercs started to grind in the game and soon became one of the best players in the game, and because of the ongoing popularity of Fortnite: Battle Royale Nickmercs started to become more and more famous and at one point he was daily streaming to more than 5000 viewers on his channel. At one point he and his squad also held the record for the world record for total kills in Fortnite with 54 which was later broken and he was also the winner of the first Fortnite Friday with SypherPK and earned $2,500.
In 2019, Nickmercs career took a turn for the better as he ended up parting ways with his 100Thieves over failed promises and poor management and ended up joining FaZe Clan and becoming one of the Co-owner of FaZe Clan.
Since 2019, Nickmercs has been with FaZe Clan and his popularity has continued to rise. Currently, his main focus is streaming and he can be found streaming and entertaining thousands of people daily on his Twitch channel. But he also competes in various Fortnite: Battle Royale and Call of Duty: Warzone tournaments from time to time.
As of February 2022, Nickmercs has more than a 6.4million followers on his Twitch and around 4 million subscribers on his Youtube channel.
