Shahzeb Khan, Commonly known as ShahZam is an American professional Valorant player of Pakistani descent. And just like many, he used to play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive professionally before officially making a switch to Valorant. As a CS: GO player ShahZam had a decent career and played for many big organizations throughout his career. Currently, ShahZam is signed with Sentinels, one of the top teams in the Valroant currently.

ShahZam’s Career

Shahzeb “ShahZam” Khan was born on October 8, 1993, in the United States. ShahZam started his as a professional gamer playing Counter-Strike: Source but it didn’t take long before he switched to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. As a CS: GO ShahZam used to play as an AWPer and had a decent career.

In December 2014, ShahZam got his first break when he joined Cloud9. But he didn’t stop there he continued playing and throughout his career, he played for many top NA teams like Tempo Storm, OpTic Gaming, Misfits Gaming, Team SoloMid, and Complexity Gaming.

ShahZam was also one of the central people in uncovering the iBuyPower and NetcodeGuides match-fixing scandal, he also issued a statement confirming that the match at issue had been thrown.

In October 2019, ShahZam was benched by Complexity Gaming due to Complexity’s poor recent performance, which according to ShahZam was due to the players having less experienced and him not able to play his role as an AWPer properly due to having to perform in-game duties.
In November 2019, ShahZam announced that he is now a free agent and his contract with Complexity Gaming has ended and he is eager to find a new team.

In April 2020, ShahZam announced his retirement from the CS: GO pro scene after being signed by Sentinels as a part of their Valorant roster.
