NiKo’s Career

Nikola Kovac was born on 16 February 1997 in Bosnia. Niko first started to gain recognition across Europe after being signed by Team iNation. After seeing his impressive performances, Mousesports started to show interest in him and signed him in March 2015.

Due to the continuance of his impressive performances, he was signed by FaZe Clan in February 2017. Niko won his first big tournament StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3 in February 2017. After winning that tournament Niko and his team didn’t win any tournament for 5 months and nearly missed Championship Series Season 3, that led to FaZe Clan re-shuffling their roster, and FaZe Clan ended up bringing 2-star players of 2015, Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer Gustafsson and Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács, because of which FaZe Clan manage to find their lost momentum and managed to win ESL One: New York 2017 and ELEAGUE CS: GO Premier 2017 back to back. After this FaZe Clan didn’t win any tournament for two months and ended up taking the Esports Championship Series Season 4 trophy over Mousesports at the end of the year. In the year 2018, FaZe Clan just falls short of winning ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018, after that they FaZe Clan won Intel Extreme Masters XIII – Sydney, ESL One: Belo Horizonte 2018, EPICENTER 2018 event in Moscow, and BLAST Pro Series.

On October 28, 2020, Niko’s three-and-a-half-year journey with FaZe Clan came to an end and he Joined G2 Esports which he is currently signed with.
